Miami is a city known for its extravagant nightlife and picturesque landscape, if you follow how the city is portrayed in movies and media, Miami is a non-stop party. There is some reality to the depiction of nightlife in Miami but there are some areas of opportunity when it comes to bringing a little refinement to the nightlife scene. With a shortage of events that cater to a more primed crowd, who are looking to surround themselves in an elegant and sophisticated setting, there are not a lot of options unfortunately. A person who is tapping into the call and creating ultra-exclusive, chic and swanky events is Evonne Everett. Everette is the owner of Chic Wine Events, LLC, A budding event and hospitality firm based out of Miami, FL that specializes in the “art” of food and wine pairings. Evonne is graduate of Florida International University’s School of Hospitality and has extensive experience from her tenure at the University of Florence in Italy. Upon return to the states Everett has worked alongside the prestigious South Beach Food and Wine Festival and is launching one of her very own signature events, “Soultry Speakesy”. Everett plans to host an event created to attract the young professionals, established entrepreneur, traveled and well-rounded individual. The ideal target market is group of people that can enjoy a full cultural experience with sounds of sultry music, artistically plated creations and finely hand crafted spirits. This Harlem Renaissance themed soiree is set for Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Stache, a widely popular South Florida speakeasy tavern located in the heart of Downtown.
