Q: When did you first learn that you had this amazing talent? When I was about 13yrs old, my mom would keep my hair in braids, I was the original Alicia keys- braids and beads lol... One day I asked my mother "mom can I do my own hair? I don't want to wear braids anymore". She was hesitant, but replied, I'll give you a month; if I'm not happy with what your doing, its going back up in braids" that was my motivation to get it right, needless to say I must have done something right!


Q: What has been the most exciting moment in your career? Well I would have to say being a lead stylist with Indique Hair at New York fashion week Harlem Fashion Show Row Sponsored by Target, Par 7 vodka at the Lincoln Center in 2011


Q:  What are your beauty projections for this season? My beauty projections this year is a larger focus on natural hair care. I am going to create, educate and elevate the natural hair industry by educating and creating a new perspective on how to care and LOVE your natural hair, you can look out for webinars, how to's pamphlets and much more...


Q: You've been #Indiqued! Tell us about your experience working with our brand? My experience working with Indique has been LIFE CHANGING, I truly LOVE... and stand by the brand, it has been an innovative force in the fashion industry, and it's the only brand of human hair extensions I support and use, the quality is unmatched!


Q: What advice do you have for someone aspiring in your field? My advice for someone embarking in the beauty industry is to LOVE what you do and most importantly how you do it, what I have learned is I have the talent to do whatever I want, but what have I "Mastered", find your niche and master it until its perfected!


Q: What have been some of the barriers you've faced in this industry? Well I would have to say team building with like minded individuals has been a challenge, it's something that cannot be forced, the timing has to be right with the right energy.
