Fluff Fave: 2018 Golden Globes

With light being shed on inequities and darkness, this year’s awards season was bound to be monumental.

The Golden Globes kicked off the season with a historical red carpet: actors and actresses came dressed in all black in solidarity with the #metoo campaign and to raise awareness for Time’s Up, an initiative created by several hundred actresses and female agents, writers, directors and entertainment executives to fight sexual misconduct across the country. Many actors also sported Time’s Up pins. The sea of black certainly had an impact, and who doesn’t look great in black! Impeccable cut trousers with empire waist evening tops were seen quite a bit. Jumpsuits, gowns. Who said black was boring?!

Here our our Fluff Faves.

Let's start with the Queen of the night, Oprah. She gave us all the feels with her lifetime achievement award win and looked amazing doing it. Oprah wears Versace atelier, Sophia Webster shoes and Tom Ford frames.

It was said that designer Naeem Khan worked around the clock to change this dress from gold to black for Christina Hendricks.

Times Up and no more drama. Mary J. Blige stuns in Alberta Ferretti.

Eva Longoria, a major figure in the Time's Up movement also debuted her baby bump on the red carpet. The focus was decidedly not on who made her gown.

Tracee Ellis Ross loves making a statement with fashion. Tonight was no different in this Marc Jacobs column gown and head wrap.

Kerry Washington gave us young, fun and free in atelier Prabal Gurung and Roger Viviet heels.

Samira Wiley looks elegant in Romona Keveza.

Jessica Chastain channels old Hollywood glam in Armani Privé.

Simple, chic, elegant. Zoe Kravitz is goals in Saint Laurent.

Viola Davis looks absolutely regal in custom Brandon Maxwell and Harry Winston jewels. Her halo of natural hair highlighting her crown.

Issa Queen! Issa Rae in Prabal Gurung and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
