Conditioned With Love

We've all seen those commercials, the ones with the models twirling their super gorgeous hair around and raving about how a product helped them achieve the desired look. There was a time when many of us did what we could to get those products and try to get that "commercial" hair look. But many of us, often misguided and as adolescent persons of color with few resources, thought that we could do that too, but boy was we wrong!

Women of color have different hair textures than the textures often portrayed in the mainstream media. As a result, it is necessary to research and determine what products would work for your hair type.

Fortunately, there has been a boost in resources and conversations of haircare for all women, one of them being what Indique beings to the table, sustainable, beautiful, and luxurious hair. Yes, Indique specializes in extensions, but if you dig further and you’ll find that Indique also provides excellent conditioning treatments to help keep your tresses in tip-top shape!

Straightening, coloring, and using chemicals allows you to achieve fabulous results, however, they are very damaging when done often. Growing up, many of us wanted to be on trend, and at the time straight hair was cool. Once the natural hair wave became prevalent, people began to stop using chemicals and refrain from applying constant heat on their hair. The heat and chemicals caused the hair to be weaker and prone to breakage. It is essential to deep condition and use moisturizing products, but finding these products with good ingredients can be tough.

Indique’s line up of conditioning treatments include….
