A is for Asparagus
Asparagus is rich in calcium and has both vitamin A and C. It also helps to strengthen your hair. The folate (a vitamin of the B complex, found in leafy green vegetables, liver, and kidney) and vitamin C in asparagus can improve hair health as these nutrients are essential for hair growth and clear skin.
B is for Blueberries
Blueberries are packed with antioxidants. It promotes hair growth by improving circulation in the body and scalp. Blueberries have vitamin K which aids in maintaining healthy hair. It also has vitamin C, which strengthens the hair by building collagen. The proanthocyanidins in fruit stimulate the growth in the hair.
Pro Tip: Make a hair mask by blending a handful of blueberries and olive oil (for hair prone to dryness add honey to mixture), apply the mixture to the hair, concentrating on the roots. Then rinse using warm water after 20-30 minutes. Note that blueberries are clarifying agent, over usage will cause excessive dryness. Use sparsely.
C is for Cauliflower
Cauliflower carries a great deal of hair health benefits, specifically through beta-carotene. Beta-carotene which the human body converts into vitamin A /retinol which promotes a healthy scalp and hair growth. Eating cauliflower has been found to be very beneficial for keeping the skin healthy and keeping premature aging at a distance. Say goodbye to premature graying of hair and hair loss.
