A Braid-less Sew In?

Yup, you heard right! Braid-less sew-ins have currently become my favorite way to add on extra length, volume & color without breakage and pain. Cornrows, which are usually done to create the base for a sew in, can cause damage, alopecia, scabbing or even long term hair loss. With a braid-less sew in you can achieve any look that will last twice as long than a traditional sew-in without shedding and the ability to style it in any way!.

Micro links: Micro links are tiny beads used on a small or large strand of hair that clamp the amount of hair needed (depending on the thickness of the natural hair) which can be used as the base for the bundle of hair to be sewed on to.

Longevity: This method will usually last about 6-8 weeks, but clients (including myself) have had the install for up to 3 months. The micro links can loosen up with shampooing the hair, but you can always get them tightened by your stylist.

Hair Texture: This method can be used on ALL textures as long as the hair that you’re installing matches your natural texture. Braid-less sew-ins are fantastic because you do not feel bumps or elevation when you run your hands on the scalp. You can create many different styles with this method, including a high bun!

Pricing: Depending on the stylist and how many tracks the client will need, pricing starts around $50 per track. Although this method can be pricey, it is worth it due to how natural it looks and how long it will last.
